XP A40/x03: XMC/PMC Intel Atom Processor Module

Key features:

  • 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor Z530 - 533MHz FSB; Cache sizes = 32K/24K L1; 512Kbytes L2 cache
  • Intel System Controller Hub US15W chipset:
    • Memory controller, I/O Hub controller and Graphics controller combined into one chip
    • 1 or 2 Gbytes DDR2-533 soldered memory
  • Options to fit to a baseboard supporting PMC or XMC module interface:
    • PMC: 33/66MHz 32/64-bit PCI and up to 133 MHz 64-bit PCI-X interface to baseboard
    • XMC: x1 PCI Express interface to baseboard
  • Pn4 PMC rear I/O connector for both PMC and XMC version, PIM module available for rear I/O
  • Dual 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet channels (both via Pn4 rear I/O and one switchable to front from Pn4) with options for onboard or offboard Ethernet Magnetics
  • Pn4 rear I/O: 4 x USB 2.0, 1600 x 1200 graphics, CANbus, 2 x RS232/422/485 (1xswitchable to front as RS232)
  • Front panel I/O: 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x RS232 (switchable to Pn4), 1 x Gigabit Ethernet channel (switchable to Pn4)
  • Onboard EIDE NAND Flash drive, 4 Gbytes
  • Ruggedized air or conduction cooled or commercial extended temperature versions
  • Operating temperatures:
    • 0°C to +55°C (N-Series)
    • -25°C to +70°C (E-Series)
    • -40°C to +85°C (K-Series)
  • Support for Linux®, Windows® XP Embedded, Windows® XP, QNX® and VxWorks®
