RedLinX Turns 10 in 2010
RedLinX™, a multifaceted specialist engineering technology company operating in South Africa, is turning 10 in 2010. The company was started in 2000 by Sean van der Walt, focusing on offering embedded solutions. Since then it has grown to offering leading edge technologies from telecommunications, embedded to high-performance computing and related products, open-systems and solutions.

RedLinX consists of four divisions: Embedded Solutions, Telecoms, High Performance Systems and Engineering.
- RedLinX™ Embedded Solutions, specialises in industrial PCs, standalone and bus-based Single Board Computers, DSP and FPGA modules, input/output modules, peripherals, keyboards, displays, completely integrated OEM packaged products and highly rugged tablet and notebook PCs for commercial and ruggedised purposes.
- RedLinX™ Telecoms provides Consulting, Design, Implementation and Support of infrastructure, equipment, software, and solutions for Next Generation Networks (NGN). RedLinX Telecoms also provides a diverse range of innovative, cost-effective products for converged VoIP and Data networks including Media Gateways, Multi-Service Business Gateways, Session Border Controllers (SBC), Residential Gateways, IP Phones, Media Servers and Value Added Applications.
- RedLinX™ HPS offers high performance servers that cater for the entry-level through to high-end markets. Our servers are powered by Tyan and are certified for Linux, Windows and VMWare.
- RedLinX™ Engineering has the experience and capability to manage and execute complex technology projects that include mechanical, electronic and computer system engineering. Ergonomic aspects and logistics are addressed at all levels of design.
