Press Release
17 April 2008
High Performance Systems (HPS), previously known as Business Solutions, was restructured with the primary intention of focusing on the core business of RedLinX™ – providing hardware solutions.
Realizing a gap in the market, RedLinX™ joined forces with Tyan Computers – representing agencies around the world – to best serve various emerging markets and establish itself as a serious competitor in the industry.
To ensure that HPS best lives up to this goal, RedLinX™ has recruited the formidable expertise of Deon Manuel (Divisional Manager), Christo Versfeld (Pre-sales Engineer) and Graham Maart (BDM).
Deon Manuel, the new head of HPS, boasts a track record of 13 years in the IT industry – having worked for the likes of IBM and Microsoft. Deon’s vision for HPS is that it will be a fast growing division within RedLinX™ as well as the hyper performance server market.
Graham Maart, the Business Development Manager who has been with RedLinX™ for over 5 years, brings extensive market knowledge to the table and has been working closely with Tyan for the last 3 years. Tyan Computers, a business unit of MITAC, manufactures high performance server/workstation board technology platforms and server solutions products, utilizing either AMD or Intel™’s latest technologies.
RedLinX™.HPS is the importer and agency for their products in South Africa and Africa. Server barebones are imported and assembled for the SA market. These highly stable and space-efficient products are very attractive to OEMs and systems integration designing next generation rackmount server solutions for a wide array of applications.
