Engineering Capabilities

Engineering project capabilities include the following :

Project Management – project costing, project scheduling, risk management, configuration management
Formal Documentation – full project traceability from specification to design documentation to manufacturing data pack to qualification and acceptance test procedures and results
Concept Design – mechanical design, electronic circuit design, computer system design and overall system design, culminating in a Preliminary Design Review (PDR)
Detailed Design – generation of a detailed manufacturing datapack, culminating in a Critical Design Review (CDR)
Prototyping – procurement of components, manufacture of mechanical and electronic elements and assembly of the system according to the final manufacturing datapack for customer evaluation and qualification testing
Product Qualification – rigorous functional and environmental (temperature, vibration, electromagnetic interference) tests and quality audits to ensure product meets specification, culminating in a Production Readiness Review (PDR)
Production and Testing – manufacture of baselined product according to the delivery schedule

This list describes the phases typical of a full engineering project, but RedLinX will also contract for a subset of the full development cycle and tailor the project deliverables according to the requirements of the project and the budget of the customer.

RedLinX can also provide project management services for existing development projects in order to solve development problems, mitigate risk and expedite delivery.
